I have so many things in life that i need to do but i have not. I’m just being too lazy again and again. I’m still not living my life yet. While i’m on my break, i’m piled up with many weird problems from customers which i’m still searching for answers. Even me, myself is having problems with the new WordPress 3.0.1. Once it’s solved, i will then share it with all my readers as usual.

Anyway, i will not write much for today’s post but i wanna wish Singapore and all its citizens a Happy National Day. I know it’s late but still better than forgetting. Honestly, i’m not a patriotic Singaporean and i didn’t even watch the NDP Parade on television. I’m so not into stuffs like birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations. And yah, by the way, how old is Singapore this year?

There are a total of five classes in this game. Berzerker, Champion, Heretic, Magus and Slayer. Just like all the other free MMPORG games, each class have their own strength and weaknesses. The most common question that people like to ask is, which class is the best? The thing is, there is no such thing as the best class. Just play and enjoy building up your character. One of the feature that makes this game different from the other free MMPORG games that i’ve played before is that, there’s daily quests for you to do everyday which gives you “EXP” to level up.

Just do the daily quest if you’re not the type who likes to grind and eventually you’ll level up. Of course, not as fast as those who grind but still, your character is not stagnant. To make it even better, there have this event daily, called Tree Of Life which basically gives you free exp for one hour everyday just by “AFK-ing”. Another feature that i love is the double exp. Unlike other games, whereby when you enable your “Double Exp”, it will expire within a few hours. But for this game, you can turn it in on and off whenever you like!

The  only feature that i don’t really fancy is that they use your “EXP” to upgrade your skills. Getting “EXP” for higher levels is very precious if you know what i mean. If you’re planning to play this game, i would highly recommend you to use an “Induction ID” when you first create your character. By using this, you will get special gears and weapons when starting out. If you want this code, do let me know but you’ll have to play on server Abyss (West) for this code to work!

Just imagine, i had an umbrella. The road i was walking on was gushing with water which made my shoes wet and it feels as if i’m walking in a river. Having wet socks and shoes the first thing in the morning have definitely spoilt your day. To make matters worst, the strong winds are causing all the raindrops to blow directly at my direction. That just made me think, what use is an umbrella in this kind of weather? I’m all wet and i have to hold the umbrella tight as the strong winds are blowing it off. It’s just days like these where i wished i had those weird Japanese umbrellas which covers you from head to toe.

On the other hand, Orchard Road has turned into a river. This is the first time i’ve seen such heavy rain that cause floods. The last time i experienced flood was way back in the “kampung” days which i was too young to even remember. This natural disasters made me realize that no one is safe from mother nature. People who think Singapore is a safe country, well you’re right but then again, when it comes to natural disasters, no one is safe. Just because there aren’t many natural disasters happening doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Trust me it will. That is why we must all be prepared for the worse and not to take things for granted. So for the next few days, please be reminded to bring along your umbrella especially if you’re going out in the morning. Better still, bring along a raincoat as an umbrella won’t be much help in this weather.

I came across a stall that sells macbook cover which i almost wanted to buy until i open it up. The girl told me it’s the last piece and it’s transparent which is not the one i’m looking for but the thing is, it’s not nice! Seriously, its like those done in my secondary school technical class days. Acrylic not sawed properly. Lucky thing i checked or else it’d be such a waste of money for such crap.

So, still haven’t bought or seen anything interesting yet, i continued my window shopping. I’m not sure how but i end up in “Messy” store. No the store’s not messy but it’s the name of the shop. Bought a couple of shirts there before so i browsed through the shirt section. Then, as i was browsing through, i saw this pair of shoes which i find really cute!

I just have a soft spot for shoes. I simply cannot resist when i see a nice pair of kicks. In fact, i tend to look at people’s feet more that i look at faces. No i’m not a “foot fetish” guy but maybe a “shoe fetish”? Well enough said, sis told me that’s it’s nice. What do you think?

The reason why all of us need a good connection is simply because we paid for it. If it’s free i wouldn’t even say a thing. But customers get really angry when they’ve paid for something and don’t get what they are promised. I really don’t mind if it’s minor but it’s so bad that i can’t even post a tweet. Worst still, i can’t even do a simple Google search without having to refresh the page many times.

Cmon SingNet! I need the damn freaking internet connection to do my work. Lucky thing i signed up for my mobile broadband on StarHub. It really is a good idea to get from different providers. If one of the Internet Service Provider is down, you’ll have the other one and still can do your work. Well unless of course all the internet connection in Singapore is down which i hope will never happen.

Okay seriously i need to do some work “offline”. With a  laggy and unstable internet connection, i’d rather not use it at all. I hope this problem gets resolved A.S.A.P. Oh yah, don’t bother calling them. They’d just blame it on your computer infected with virus, your router is not working and so on and so forth. It’s never SingNet’s connection, it’s always the customer’s fault. Yeah make that your new slogan SingNet!

Let me tell you why human traffic is much worse than a traffic jam on the road. Firstly, you’ll have to stand whereas on a vehicle, you’re sitting down. But that’s not as bad as the next reason. The reason why i hate human traffic so much is the physical human contact, suffocation and body odor!

Yes physical body contact is good when you’re squeezing with some hot chick. But in real life, the only person you’ll ever make body contact with, are sweaty guys.

And me being a shorty, i will definitely suffocate as i’ll be surrounded by tall and big people all around me. The worse thing that can happen in a human traffic is when you’re surrounded with people with super manly body odor.

And when finally your path is clear, occasionally, you’ll get to play the “Left Right Game”. Just what exactly is the “Left Right Game” you might ask. Well it’s when you’re walking and someone from the opposite direction approaches your way. Then you move to your right to give way to the person only to find that the person on your opposite direction is doing the same.

Then you’ll move to the left and they will do the same. This will continue until the both of you reach a certain distance or if the both of you stop. I find it funny at times as it makes both party look stupid. But on the other hand, when i’m in a rush, such stupidity will trigger my boiling point.

So, have you ever been caught in the “Left Right Game”? If you have not, you should try it. But of course, do not attempt to play this game when you’re in a rush. Best played in the morning working hours, during lunch time hours and after work hours. Enjoy!

As usual, the first thing i do when i load up a new Operating System, i would customize it. Customizing and tweaking skins for Windows 7 is some what rather similar to Vista but like i said before, better don’t mess around if you’re not sure what you’re doing.

The next thing i did was disable the UAC (User Account Control) function. Unlike Vista where you had to tweak, Windows 7 has it’s own settings for UAC where by u can adjust it by moving the slider up for strict control and down to disable it. Personally for me, i’d rather disable it than to have those prompt every single time i run a program.

The new features are really cool which i like to entertain myself with. Yes, let’s just say for example, you’ve got 4 windows opened. On the window that you want to work on, just shake the window right and left and the other 3 windows will minimize. Cool huh! I love shaking. Okay that sounds wrong.

The next cool feature is the side by side window. Let’s say you want to copy files from your thumbdrive to your local C Drive. Open C Drive folder, drag it all the way to your left. Open your thumbdrive folder and drag it all the way to your right. It will resize itself automatically to fit each other side by side so you can easily drag your files. Of course, you may also move it up or down it still works but i prefer right and left.

Overall, Windows 7 is the next Windows XP, only better. However, there is still a bug which is not yet fixed by Microsoft. Some unlucky users, (i’m one of them) will experience no internet connection every single time when you reboot your computer. It’s definitely not my drivers and my network card. It’s definitely Windows 7. Every single time you reboot your machine, Windows 7 will detect an “Unidentified Network” and this is what’s causing the problem. It conflicts with you own network and therefore you won’t be able to access the internet.

The temporary fix for this is to go to your device manager. Disable your network ethernet controller. Wait till you see a red “X” mark on your connection tab on your lower right hand corner of your screen. Now enable it again and you have your connection again! The problem with this is, you’ll have to do it every single time you on your computer and this is not practical at all.

Lucky for all my readers, i have a fix for this. A permanent fix which works! So stay tuned for my next blog post as i am going to reveal the secret! So you see, it’s so easy to sabotage someone’s Adsense account. It happened to a friend of mine before and now it happens to me. If you don’t like that particular person and he has a website and using Adsense, simply just click on their ads everyday and Google will disable their Adsense account saying that it’s fraudulent clicks.

As for now, i will have to try other alternatives. I will let you know weather or not it’s better than Adsense. Well, getting my Adsense account disabled isn’t the end of the world to me. Anyway, my life hasn’t always been the way i wanted it to be.

Special thanks to Esther and Ein for the great fishing trip. It was by far the best fishing trip ever because my cousin got a huge crab and a stingray! It was his first stingray caught after years of fishing. Yesterday was definitely one of the days not to be forgotten.

I  am also considering to revamp my whole site all over again if i have the time. I made this theme so it suits well with my ads, but since i won’t be using anymore ads, i would rather go for a much better look. And yeah, i know it’s over but i’m still pissed off with Google Adsense! Grrr…

My cousin is the one who ties the line and fishing hook. Before we hook the swivel to our rods, he always ensures that the hooks are tied properly by pulling it. He usually does a good job but last night, when he pulled, the knot came off. And it happened twice. Bad Luck 1.

The place that we went, there’s usually lots of catfish of various sizes. For every trip that we went, we at least get a minimum of one catfish. But not this time, not even one. And the worst part is, we only get three small fishes. And when i say small, it’s smaller than my palm. Bad Luck 2.

Then the next morning, the sky turned dark and we knew it was going to rain. So, we decided to make a move. The thing was, there was some kind of bicycle race event going on and the whole stretch of road was garrisoned and there’s no way we can get out to the expressway. My cousin asked one of the marshaller’s there as to what time it would end, and they told us roughly in about 4 hours time. WTF?! My cousin told me that there’s no way he’s gonna stay there and wait for 4 hours, so  he came up with this crazy idea and we got out of there. Bad Luck 3.

But fishing trip with my cousin has always been fun. Be it rain or shine, fish or no fish, it doesn’t matter. All that matters was our stupid jokes and laughters. Okay now i got lots of stuffs to do, and i hope i get to clean my room if i have the time. The next post will be a video of something really funny yet amazing at the same time. If you’re wondering what i’m talking about, well it’s prawning. I’ve heard stories about prawning but it never really did catch my attention. The reason is because i think it has no “kick” to it. I’ve been fishing in Singapore waters and when the fishes bite that’s where it gets really exciting.

Even when the fishes here aren’t that big, it’s still fun when the fishes bite. So when i think about prawns, i thought that the bite would be minimal but i was wrong. The prawns really bite hard and they are kinda heavy!

When we came, we expected the crowd to be lesser because it was a Monday, but guess not. The prawning pond was full with rods with floaters but luckily there’s still one more spot for us. Took us quite some time before my cousin got one. His girlfriend was whining “i want prawn..” like non-stop and it’s hilarious. It’s not a bad place to chill out with friends or family as i find the place relaxing except for the dirty toilet and the smelly cow dung smell. But what do you expect? This is outdoor and i like the environment just the way it is.

So for yesterday, we managed to get only five prawns but spending my time with them was fun. Overall, it’s really not my cup of tea but i’d join you for prawning if u ask me. Its okay for me, not too boring and not too fun either but i still prefer fishing than prawning. But still i would like recommend prawning to anyone who wants to try out something different. It doesn’t matter if you never went fishing before. It’s so simple and easy that even a prawn can go prawning (what the..). Anyway what i’m trying to say is that all you have to do is put a tiny piece of bait and hold the rod. If it bites you pull it’s that easy.
