I guess it’s true that you can never satisfy a human being. Whatever that you do not have, you want it. Those that you already have, you want it to be better than the rest. Since we humans are always craving for something better, well here’s good news for you.

Today, i’m going to introduce you another useful plugin for firefox. This plugin will make your web browsing speed much faster and it’s free.

Dynamic speed increases can be obtained with Fasterfox’s unique prefetching mechanism, which recycles idle bandwidth by silently loading and caching all of the links on the page you are browsing.

Fasterfox allows you to tweak many network and rendering settings such as simultaneous connections, pipelining, cache, DNS cache, and initial paint delay. It also has a page load timer, a millisecond accurate page load timer which tests the effectiveness of your settings.

Still those understand those lines? Well it’s okay, i don’t too. But one thing’s for sure, it really sure does improve FireFox’s web browsing performance. I’m not sure why, but i found there’s quite a few versions of FasterFox out there. But the one that i’m using is working good, well i’m not sure about the others though.

The version i downloaded is Fasterfox (EladKarako Mod) which can be downloaded here. I am currently using Firefox Version 3.6.3 and it seems to be working fine. Well no harm trying because it’s free and if you don’t like it, or you don’t seem to find it useful, you can always uninstall it. I’m just sharing ^_^

For those who are not familiar with the term “OS”, it basically means Operating System. Some of the mostly used Operating Systems are Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista and open source OS such as Ubuntu and many more. I won’t go into detail on explaining about how an OS works but as a lay man’s term, for an OS to run, the most important thing you will need is a Hard disk as all the data are stored inside.

Recently, i found out about cloud computing and seriously i’m amazed at what technology can do for you nowadays. Basically, now you are able to have your own desktop that runs from your web browser! There are quite a few sites providing these services, each with their on unique Operating System.

But the one that i find which has the best interface would be iCloud. It is a desktop that follows you wherever you go. All you need is an internet connection, your preferred web browser and you’re ready to go!

Open http://os.icloud.com in your web browser, log in, and your very own desktop will emerge in seconds. The desktop is the starting point of your icloud experience. Here you’ll keep your most frequently used files and applications. To the right, you have a sidebar where you can keep small useful applications, e.g. clock, calendar, weather update etc. To the lower left you’ll find the start menu for easy access to all features in icloud.

In short, icloud is a web site that turns your web browser into an online computer. You can save your documents, upload and download images and do almost anything like what your home computer can. Registrations are free and you’re only limited to a maximum of 3GB disk space. As for me, that is more than enough but for those who needs more space, you can always sign up for their Premium service which gives you 200Gb of disk space for $39.99 for a whole year! All in all, i think this is interesting but the only thing that i cannot stand is the speed of how everything loads. It’s not slow but it’s not fast either. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

If you have an internet access and a computer, you will definitely have an email. Be it if you are a beginner or an IT expert, each and everyone of us have a hotmail email address. Personally, i don’t really like hotmail as i find Gmail so much better in terms of style and speed. But nonetheless, i will teach you how to remove the annoying skyscraper flash ads that’s located on the right hand side of your hotmail. A lot of people find this ad annoying and it’s distracting users from reading their emails as it keeps on flashing.

The method i am using is by using a plugin and it requires little or no computer skills or whatsoever.

Firstly, to make this work you will have to use Mozilah FireFox. If you have not been using FireFox as your default web browser, then you should start using it.

It is by far the best web browsers that i’ve ever tried. It is 100% safe so click here to download.

Second step is to download a plugin. What is a plugin? It is basically an add-on to the web browser. Different plugins for different stuffs. If you’re using FireFox, there are so many plugins for you to choose from. But for today, the plugin i’m going to recommend will be “Hotmail-Ad-Zap! 1.0.1” By SenthilKumar. Click here to install. All you have to do is click on the “Add To Firefox” button. Next, click on the “Accept and Install” Button below. Then you will see a prompt on your Firefox Browser and just click install now. Restart your Firefox web browser and it’s all done!

You can test it out by logging in to your hotmail and you will notice that there are no more ads on the right hand side of your screen. Yeah! So much better to view hotmail now isn’t it? Hope this tutorial really helps and feel free to leave me your comments!
